Shapekeys Extended is an add-on that replaces and expands Blender's default shapekey panel. It introduces a hierarchical layout with collapsible groups, allowing users to organize and reorder shapekeys more effectively. The interface supports shapekey creation and editing directly in Edit Mode, and new shapekeys are added below the current selection rather than at the bottom of the list.
The tool includes additional operations such as splitting shapekeys into left and right sides, inverting shapekeys to set a new basis, removing empty shapekeys, and normalizing shapekey ranges. It also provides a dedicated tools menu with features like converting posed bones to shapekeys and applying modifiers to meshes that already contain shapekey data. For facial animation, the add-on includes preset generation for common face tracking standards, including ARKit, Vive, Meta, UnifiedExpressions, and MMD.
