The Sculpting Brush Texture Editor is an add-on that automates the creation and import of vector displacement map (VDM) and height map brushes for Blender's sculpt mode. It provides a straightforward workflow to set up a dedicated sculpting plane, render the resulting map, generate a preview icon, and immediately switch to the new brush in your primary workspace.
The tool also supports importing EXR and PNG image files directly into the brush system. The import panel includes settings for channel swapping and ZBrush-to-Blender axis conversion. Additionally, existing texture brushes can be modified at any time, utilizing geometry node modifiers to adjust brush behavior and mapping.
