Quick Plan is a Blender add-on designed for drafting 2D architectural floor plans directly in the viewport. It translates a basic plane mesh into structural elements by automatically generating walls and columns along edges and vertices. The tool includes a shear wall function for handling non-orthogonal angles, while freestyle marked edges can be used to indicate inward-facing structural elements.

The add-on automates the creation of 2D dimensions along the bounding box of a mesh, allowing users to manually update them by adjusting vertices in edit mode. It also includes an annotation feature that generates room names based on face areas. Once a floor plan is complete, users can export the layout as a multi-layered Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file, which converts mesh faces, edges, curves, and text into vector paths for further processing in 2D vector software.
