QuadPatch is an add-on designed to accelerate the retopology process by quickly generating quad surfaces over large areas of a 3D model. By setting a path point count, users can dynamically draw out quad strips or distribute points along custom strokes to build new topology.

The tool includes an edge-loop highlighting feature that uses pathfinding between two selected edges, allowing users to easily select and extend existing loops. Additional workflow features include on-the-fly segment control using the scroll wheel and a surface relaxing function that smooths out inner edges while preserving the boundary loop. The add-on operates via a modal workflow with a dedicated hotkey panel for quick access to its operations, including a built-in shortcut for adding fast loop cuts.
