Procedural Optical Fibres

A collection of Geometry Node setups for generating procedural optical fibers in Blender. The pack includes four distinct fiber types: conventional single-mode or multi-mode fibers, hollow core photonic crystal fibers (PCF), hollow antiresonant fibers, and hollow core Bragg fibers.

Each generator provides controls to customize standard fiber parameters such as core and cladding radii, coating thickness, and the ability to strip away layers. It also includes specific parameters for specialized fibers, like adjusting air hole pitch and radius in the PCF model. These tools are designed specifically for creating simplified schematics and scientific visualizations involving optics.
