Piles'N'Tiles provides tools to aid the creation of seamless meshes and textures within a user-defined seamless area. It utilizes script-managed proxy objects that use constraints to copy the transform of the original object while maintaining an offset, creating the illusion that objects wrap around the edges of the defined area.
The tool is specifically designed to manage individual objects, which allows it to support seamless rigid body simulations. This enables collections of rigid bodies to maintain a seamless configuration during simulations, such as when dropped onto a surface. The results can be rendered using an orthographic camera to generate texture maps.
