Origin Align is a utility that automates the placement of object origins. Instead of manually adjusting pivot points, you can instantly snap the origin to the top, bottom, or any side of a mesh's bounding box. It also includes options to snap the origin to the nearest grid point or center it within the object's bounds before aligning. In Edit Mode, the origin can be aligned directly to a selected face.
The tool features a Smart Center calculation that analyzes the geometry on a given side to find a more contextual center point. Rather than strictly using the bounding box, it averages the locations of vertices at the extreme edges. This is particularly useful for asymmetrical objects, such as wall-mounted fixtures, where the geometric base does not align with the overall bounding box center.
