NLA Strip Merger is an add-on that combines multiple strips in the Non-Linear Animation editor into a single baked action. This allows users to declutter their timeline while preserving complex animation data across both objects and armatures. The tool creates a new action containing the merged keyframes and removes the original strips from the timeline, though the original data remains safely stored in the file.
The add-on processes various NLA modifiers and settings during the merge, accurately applying animated influence, animated time, stepped interpolation, time scaling, and looping. The extended Plus version can bake both object and bone animation simultaneously, process any valid animated values, and automatically place the newly baked strip on the closest available track.
