Kaleidoscope is an add-on that introduces two specialized nodes for color management and precise physical values. The Spectrum Node serves as a centralized color palette generator and manager, allowing users to create palettes using standard rules like monochromatic, complementary, and triadic color schemes. Changes made to a Spectrum Node update globally across all materials in a project. It can link directly to ColorRamps and supports importing palettes from online libraries such as COLOURLovers.

The Intensity Node provides a categorized reference for real-world physical values directly within the node editor. It includes accurate IOR (Index of Refraction) numbers for various materials and realistic blackbody temperature values for lighting. Properties in both the Spectrum and Intensity nodes can be animated.
