This collection provides animated, tileable texture sequences designed to simulate wind-swept agricultural fields and grasslands. Built to replace heavy instancing and hair simulations in wide establishing shots, the pack uses pre-simulated, seamlessly looping 200-frame image sequences to drive surface displacement and color on landscape meshes.
The pack includes eight distinct field types, such as barley, wheat, row crops, and various grasses. Each material consists of 3840x3840 resolution 16-bit PNG color maps and 16-bit TIFF displacement sequences. Since these rely heavily on displacement rather than actual geometry, they are best suited for aerial and distant landscape shots rather than extreme close-ups. Note that the uncompressed high-resolution image sequences require significant storage space.
