This Geometry Nodes setup allows users to distribute hanging paper lanterns along a curve object to decorate 3D scenes. By editing and extruding the curve handles, the lanterns are automatically generated along the path. The setup exposes modifier properties to adjust the distance between individual lanterns, overall scale, rotation, density factor, and randomized seed values.
The included lanterns feature procedural materials optimized for the Cycles render engine. The material node groups provide direct controls for light brightness, emission color, and hue, alongside physical appearance settings like paper color, roughness, bump detail, and the visibility of horizontal and vertical internal ribs.
