GroupPro introduces a dedicated grouping and instancing workflow to Blender, replicating the behavior found in applications like Maya or SketchUp. It organizes multiple objects into unified parent-child structures via Collection Instances, allowing users to move, scale, and copy complex asset assemblies as a single unit. You can temporarily open any group to edit the objects inside, and those changes will instantly update across all other instances in the scene.
The tool natively supports nested hierarchies, meaning you can place groups within other groups. It changes how Blender handles instanced modifiers, allowing standard modifiers like bevels or booleans to be applied directly to a group using a realize instances approach. Additional features include a proxy generator to maintain viewport frame rates in heavy scenes, bulk material-swapping controls, and specialized operators for arraying or dissolving collections back into raw geometry.
