This add-on provides a user interface panel for Blender's native temporal denoising functionality, located under Render Properties > Sampling when Cycles is the active render engine. Temporal denoising helps reduce flickering in animated sequences by analyzing multiple frames during the denoising process.
The tool automates the setup required for temporal denoising. When the automatic mode is enabled, it configures the necessary render settings before an animation render begins. This includes switching the output format to OpenEXR Multilayer, enabling both the Denoise Data and Vector Data render passes, and temporarily disabling standard denoising. After the render finishes, it runs the temporal denoising operator and restores the original scene settings. A manual execution option is also provided for users who prefer to configure the passes and format themselves.
