AutoCam is a camera animation tool that allows users to record camera movements in real time using standard WASD controls. The add-on converts these recorded movements into editable Bezier, Poly, or NURBS curve paths. It generates a structured camera rig with tracking settings and dynamic speed controls, enabling precise keyframing for forward, paused, or reversed motion.
Users can switch between native Blender constraints and a custom real-time evaluator for rig behavior depending on their performance needs. The tool also includes a dedicated baking function to convert the procedural rig animations into standard keyframes, preparing the camera data for rendering or exporting to other 3D applications.
